Chakras are spinning ‘wheels’ or vortices of energy. I like to think of them as transformers – like electrical transformers, they step down the energy that they receive so that it can be passed on safely.
We have seven main chakras, which are aligned along our spine from the top of the head to the tip of the tailbone. Each chakra has certain qualities and functions.
When they are aligned and healthy, chakras will be continually spinning, moving our energies and keeping us refreshed. They’re like water – the right amount of water creates a pleasant rain or bubbling stream. If there is not enough inflow, or a stoppage in the outflow, the water will become stagnant and unhealthy. If there is too much water, as in a hurricane or flood, that will be destructive in a different way.
Essential oils have been called Nature’s Living Energies. Their tiny molecules vibrate at a high level, which helps us to keep our vibrations uplifted. Essential oils, therefore, can be utilized to help us to balance and align our chakras.
